Perceptual Hashing With Complementary Color Wavelet Transform and Compressed Sensing for Reduced-Reference Image Quality Assessment

Image quality assessment (IQA) is an important task of image processing and has diverse applications, such as super-resolution reconstruction, transmission monitoring systems. This paper proposes a perceptual hashing algorithm with complementary color wavelet transform (CCWT) compressed sensing (CS) for reduced-reference (RR) IQA. The CCWT exploited to decompose input into different sub-bands. Since the calculation uses all channels without discarding any information, distortions introduced by digital operations on are preserved in block-based CS used extract features from As Euclidean distance between slightly influenced content-preserving operations, constructed distances robust, discriminative compact. Hash sequence finally determined quantifying features. Effectiveness proposed verified various experiments four open databases. Experimental results demonstrate that superior some state-of-the-art algorithms terms classification RR IQA application.
